The new Mach One ball now goes further than the original night ball, thats about 90% as far as a standard golf ball.
To illuminate the ball simply snap a jumbo ligtstick and insert it into the ball. The ball will glow for up to 5 hours.
Each ball comes with a jumbo lightstick, they are so bright that you can see them up to 200 yards away. You can even see them in deep rough. You realy should never lose them , they even float !
You can also purchase replacement sticks @99p each from us .
Each stick lasts around 6 hours so one stick required per round.
All that you would need in addition to this for a single competition are a few 6" light sticks in various colours to iilluminate parts of the course.

What do you need to hold a night time golf competition?
To start with we have the balls, these require a new lightstick to be inserted after every round. They will illuminate the ball for up to 6 hours . When illuminated you really can play golf in the pitch black. Infact its better to play when its really dark than in half light.
When you hit these balls, they will go about 85% of the distance of your callaway / pro v 1 or whatever you use.So yes you need to go up a club , and yes, you wont get over 300 yards with these balls. (but it has been done)
When you hit this down the fairway, you'll still be able to see it 220 or 250 yards if its on the fairway in the distance. The lightsticks that make them glow are genuine cyalume and are bright for atleast 5 hours . If they go in the rough, YOU WILL FIND IT . If its pitch black they glow even in tall grass and weeds. If it goes in the water, no problemo, IT FLOATS.
These genuine Nitelight balls are imported from us from the U S A . We pay the import duty and VAT making it easy for you to enjoy night golf here in the UK.
If you are just playing with a friend or two, its not neccessary to illuminate the flags or fairways. You are best to have a good torch, and we put in TWO alternatives for tou to try. A 5x LED head torch and a 9x LED metal cased mini torch, to see which you prefer. you will play better with NO LIGHTS on you bal, but will need a torch to find the right club or tees in your bag. When playing with just a couple of lads having a bit of fun at night you can also use the torches to shine at the hole when putting.
If you are intending to have a competition, then its good to illuminate the tees, flags, fairways with a few good quality 6" glowsticks. We provide 4 of these for you to try out.
Finnally if you are concerned about safety, we supply a couple of bag illuminators, so others can see where you are on the course.
If you are thinking of a competition, heres a few ideas regarding illumination.
To illuminate the flag, its best to have 2 of the brightest Green sticks simply taped at the top and bottom of the flagstick. You can judge distances better with two on each flag. Then walk back to the 150 yards posts and put a yellow marker on either side of the fairway , you will see these from the tee and give you a target to aim for. It might be an idea to mark any water hazards or bunkers with some red sticks. An easy way to do this is simply to push plant support canes into the ground and tape thewm to the top of these. Finnally place a couple of blue lightsticks on the tee box. Blue is the dullest colour so is not distracting when teeing off.
The History of nite golf!
